Biography
Professor Zhou Meiyu is a Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Art Design and Media, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). He serves as the Director of the Industrial Design Teaching and Research Office and Deputy Director of the Industrial Design Department. Born in 1963 in Jiangxi, he graduated from Chongqing University with a Master's degree in Industrial Design in 1994. He has long been engaged in industrial design teaching and research, with research interests including product design theory and methods, Kansei Engineering, and human factors in product design. He has published 3 books, co-authored 3 books, and published over 40 papers. He has completed multiple design research projects and participated in the development of Shanghai excellent courses. He has received the Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Course Award (Second Prize) and Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award (Second Prize), and has supervised over 40 student works that have won awards in domestic and international design competitions.
