Associate Professor Huang Qiu-ru is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Jiangnan University -1. He serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Animation and Digital Media Art Professional Teaching Steering Committee for Higher Education Institutions in Jiangsu Province, and is a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Digital Art Expert Committee, Jiangsu Photographers Association, and Jiangsu University Photographers Association -1. He also acts as Secretary of the Wuxi Ancient Canal Cultural Creativity Center, a university-municipally co-built humanities and social sciences base -1. He is the former Deputy Director of the Animation and Digital Media Textbook Editorial Committee at Nanjing University Press -1. He has published more than ten papers in CSSCI, Peking University Core, international core journals such as Korea-China Economic & Cultural Review, and SCD-indexed journals, including Hundred Schools in Arts, ZHUANGSHI, Packaging Engineering, Movie Literature, and TV Technology -1-2. He has authored or co-authored five higher education textbooks published by Nanjing University Press and Wuhan University Press -1. He has led or participated in numerous national, provincial, and ministerial-level research and teaching reform projects, including a National Social Science Fund Later-Stage Funding Project (Principal Investigator), a Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund Project (Principal Investigator), and multiple Jiangsu Provincial University Philosophy and Social Sciences Projects -1. His animation and digital video works, both as a creator and student supervisor, have won multiple awards, including the 2014 China Commerce Association for Science and Technology Special Award, the Silver Prize at the 14th Busan International Environment Art Festival (Korea) in 2016, and numerous Excellent Instructor Awards at the National College Student Digital Media Technology Works Competition from 2015 to 2017 -1.
