Wu Fan is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in Digital Media Art at the School of Art, Beijing Union University. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Communication University of China. She joined Beijing Union University in 2005 and currently serves as the head of the Interactive Image Experimental Class in the Digital Media program. Her research interests include virtual reality application design, digitalization of intangible cultural heritage, interactive media design, stage image design, AI smart media design, human-computer interaction experience, and digital media art and technology. She has led multiple commissioned projects from Beijing Radio and Television Station and the National Centre for the Performing Arts. She has received funding from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission as a Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teacher and has won awards in the Industry-Education Integration track of the Beijing Union University Teaching Innovation Competition. She serves as a council member of the China Stage Art Education Alliance and the Music and Sound Committee of the Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art.
