Mr. Aska Yeung is the Executive Chairman of the Hong Kong Multimedia Design Association (HKMMDA) and an interactive media artist with over 18 years of experience in the multimedia design industry -1-3. He also serves as the Creative Director of MateZ Lab Limited, a company incubated by Hong Kong Cyberport -2. Mr. Yeung graduated from York University in Canada with a master's degree and is currently a research PhD candidate at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) -1-3. He also serves as an external committee member for the Academic Committee of the Associate of Arts in Media, Cultural and Creative Studies and the Higher Diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications programme at the University of Hong Kong (HKU SPACE) -1-2. Throughout his career, Mr. Yeung has worked as a lighting designer and art executive project manager. In 2013, he was commissioned by the Hong Kong Tourism Board as the music and lighting design supplier for the Mid-Autumn Special Programme "Lantern Wonderland" -1-3. He has been involved in numerous exhibition curations, art-tech experience delivery, and educational initiatives, actively promoting the integration of art and technology. Since November 2015, he has served as the executive chairman of HKMMDA -1-3.
