Responsible for the overall operation and management of the association, promoting the development of the multimedia design industry, and organizing industry exchange events and youth training programs.
Biography

Mr. Aska Yeung is the Executive Chairman of the Hong Kong Multimedia Design Association (HKMMDA), an interactive media artist, and the Creative Director of MateZ Lab. He holds a master's degree from York University, Canada, and is currently a research PhD candidate at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. With over 18 years of experience in art and design, he has participated in numerous public and private projects. In 2013, he was commissioned by the Hong Kong Tourism Board as the music and lighting production coordinator for the Mid-Autumn Special Programme “Lantern Wonderland”. He also serves as an external committee member for the Academic Committee of the Associate of Arts in Media, Cultural and Creative Studies and Higher Diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at HKU SPACE. He has worked as a lighting designer and art executive project manager, dedicated to promoting the integration of art and technology. Since November 2015, he has served as the Executive Chairman of the Hong Kong Multimedia Design Association. He actively promotes creative industry exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland through curating art-tech exhibitions and organizing youth internship exchange programmes. In 2025, he led his team to bring the Dunhuang Mogao Caves culture to Hong Kong using immersive technology, allowing the public to explore the unique charm of Dunhuang culture through interactive experiences.
