Professor HUNG Keung is an internationally renowned digital media artist, researcher, scholar, and designer. He has been actively involved in the creation and research of film, video, and digital new media art since 1995. He graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Swire School of Design) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Department of Fine Arts), and later earned an MA in Film and Video from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London. He received his PhD from the Planetary Collegium, Zurich University of the Arts (Switzerland) and the University of Plymouth (UK). Professor Hung has served as a visiting scholar, artist, and guest lecturer at numerous international institutions, including ZKM (Germany), Kolding Design College (Denmark), UC Berkeley (USA), University of Oregon (USA), Australian National University (Australia), Western University (Canada), and University of Hawai‘i (USA).
