Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, specializing in biomechanics. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a second Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012. In 2016, he earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, followed by postdoctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States. He joined the School of Biomedical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019. He has also served as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research focuses on soft tissue biomechanics, finite element modeling, multimodal ultrasound image processing, rehabilitation engineering and intelligent medical device development. He has published over 50 papers in SCI-indexed journals and serves as the Principal Investigator for four provincial/ministerial-level or higher grants, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He also holds eight authorized patents. He holds extensive academic memberships, including Member of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS), Lifetime Member of the World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers (WACBE), Member of the WACBE Young Investigator Committee, Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering (CSBME), Member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM), Member of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM), and Member of the Sports Biomechanics Committee of the Shanghai Sports Science Society. Furthermore, he serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Orthopaedic Translation, Editorial Board Member and Section Editor for Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices, Guest Editor for Bioengineering, and acts as a peer reviewer for multiple SCI journals. He earned Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program, the Young Scholar Award at the 9th WACBE World Congress in Bioengineering, inclusion in the Forbes China 30 Under 30, and the Shanghai Rising-Star Talent program.
