Biography
Dr. Gu Xinyi is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and Master‘s Supervisor at the School of Education, Beijing Institute of Technology. She leads several national and provincial research projects, including a National Social Science Foundation youth project. Her research primarily focuses on AI in Education, the integration of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology in educational settings, and the ethical governance of emerging technologies. She is actively involved in high-level policy advisory work, and her research findings have been utilized by several national and provincial government departments. She is the principal author of China‘s first ethical guideline for BCI technology, titled 'Ethical Principles and Governance Recommendations for Brain-Computer Interfaces.'
