Teaching and research in ICT-enhanced teaching and learning, design and development of learning technology systems, learning analytics and visualization, and cultivation and assessment of computational thinking.
Biography
Yu Xiaohua is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Department of Education Information Technology, Faculty of Education, East China Normal University. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Application and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology. Her research interests include ICT-enhanced teaching and learning, design and development of learning technology systems, learning analytics and visualization, and cultivation and assessment of computational thinking. She has led multiple national and provincial research projects, published the monograph Re-recognizing, Applying, and Constructing Learning Technology Systems, and authored over 40 academic papers in core journals such as e-Education Research and Open Education Research. She has received honors including the Excellence Award in the 5th Shanghai University Teaching Innovation Competition.
