Dr. LAN Guoshuai is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Supervisor at the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Henan University, serving as Department Chair and a Teaching Master of Henan University. He has been recognized as an Innovative Talent in Philosophy and Social Sciences for Colleges and Universities in Henan Province, and serves as Deputy Director of the Technical (Information Technology and General Technology) Teaching Guidance Subcommittee under the Henan Provincial Basic Education Teaching Guidance Committee. He is also a Researcher at the Henan Provincial Research Center for Educational Informatization Development and at the Soft Science Research Base of the Henan Provincial Educational Policy Institute. He was consecutively selected as a Highly Cited Scholar (Top 1%) in Education by CNKI in both 2024 and 2025. He has been invited to serve as a Youth Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for several SSCI and CSSCI core journals. His research focuses primarily on smart education and intelligent education, with interests spanning smart education and future education, educational digitalization and intelligent education, educational artificial intelligence and smart learning environments, technology-enhanced digital competence development for teachers, and teacher professional development. He has published over 100 Chinese and English academic papers as sole author or first author in CSSCI and SSCI core journals such as Educational Research, Higher Education Research, E-education Research, Open Education Research, and Education and Information Technologies. Many of his articles have been reprinted in full by the Renmin University Copy Center for Newspapers and Magazines, the Academic Abstracts of Higher Education Institutions, and the China Social Sciences Network. He has led more than 10 research projects, including grants from the National Social Science Fund of China (Education General Project), the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences General Project, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Project, the Henan Provincial Higher Education Philosophy and Social Sciences Major Research Project, the Henan Provincial Higher Education Key Scientific Research Project, the Henan Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning General Project, the Henan Provincial Teacher Education Curriculum Reform Research Project, and the Henan Provincial Soft Science Research Program. He has published 14 academic monographs and contributed to 8 additional volumes with prestigious national presses such as Science Press and China Social Sciences Press. His research achievements have earned him numerous awards, including one Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award for Higher Education (Undergraduate), one First Prize of the Henan Provincial Teacher Education Teaching Achievement Award, two Special Prizes and three First Prizes of the Henan Provincial Outstanding Research Achievement in Educational Science, three First Prizes and three Second Prizes of the Henan Provincial Higher Education Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Achievement Award, two First Prizes and one Second Prize of the Henan Provincial Department of Education Science and Technology Achievement Award, and five First Prizes of the Henan Provincial Outstanding Achievement in Educational Informatization.
