Biography

Dr. Xudong Tang is a female professor and master's supervisor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Guangdong Medical University. She graduated from Chongqing Medical University in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and began teaching at the university. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics (Biochemistry) from Guangdong Medical University in 2002. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics (Biochemistry) from Wuhan University in 2009. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Southern California (2005–2007) and was a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania (2014). Her research focuses on biochemical and pharmacological mechanisms of natural products against tumors, the role of exosomes in lung cancer, and AI-assisted biomedical analysis.
