Biography
Dr. Norisma Binti Idris is an Associate Professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya. She joined Universiti Malaya in 2001 and received her Ph.D. in Computer Science (Natural Language Processing) from Universiti Malaya in 2011. Her research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), with main interests in automatic text summarization, sentiment analysis, aspect extraction, and the application of machine learning and deep learning in education and healthcare. Over the past five years, she has published more than 15 articles on NLP and AI in various WoS-indexed journals. She currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya.
