Biography
Dr. Yuchen Pan is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Information Resource Management, Renmin University of China. He received his Ph.D. under the supervision of Academician Yang Shanlin (Chinese Academy of Engineering) through a joint Ph.D. program between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Chicago. He joined Renmin University as a lecturer in 2020 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. His research focuses on AI principles and technologies, AI-powered recommender systems, and AI in healthcare. He has led 21 research projects, including NSFC General and Youth Projects. He has published over 20 papers as first/corresponding author in prestigious journals. He has been selected for multiple talent programs, including the 'Wu Yuzhang Young Scholar' program, the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program (YESS) by CAST, and the Beijing Nova Program.
