Dr. Zhang Lingxian is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from China Agricultural University in 2006 and has been working there since graduation. His research focuses on AI applications in agriculture, agricultural informatization standardization, and agricultural policy. He serves as a member of the National Technical Committee on Coding Standardization for Agricultural and Food Products, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Informatization Standardization (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs), Executive Deputy Director of the National Digital Agricultural Products Circulation Innovation Sub-center, and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Agricultural Machinery. He has led multiple national-level research projects including key projects of the National Social Science Fund and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published 135 academic papers (66 indexed in SCI/SSCI/EI), received multiple awards including the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Science and Technology), the Third Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award, and the Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award. He holds 15 invention patents and has published 8 academic monographs.
