Dr. Rachid Chenini is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economic, Business and Management Sciences, University of Ghardaia, Algeria. He was born on September 24, 1979 in Ghardaia, Algeria. He received his Licence in Commercial and Financial Sciences (Finance) from the Higher School of Commerce (ESC), Algiers in 2002, his Master's Degree in Financial and Accounting Sciences (Corporate Finance) from the University of Ghardaia in 2017, and his Ph.D. in Financial and Accounting Sciences (Corporate Finance) from Ahmed Draia University, Adrar in 2023. He has worked as a Financial Assistant at Algérie Télécom since 2005, accumulating 20 years of industry experience. His research areas cover finance, banking, governance, economics, Islamic finance, corporate governance, liquidity risk management, digital transformation, fintech, and green economy. He has published numerous international peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, and has authored a book on managing liquidity risks in Islamic banks (Global Printing House, 2024).
