Prof. Fan Yang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Public Health, Shandong University, and serves as Deputy Director of the National Institute of Health Data Science. He is a Young Expert of Taishan Scholars in Shandong Province. His research focuses on causal deep generative learning, tumor informatics, domain-specific reasoning large models, and multimodal deep representation learning. He has led over 10 national and provincial research projects including the National Key R&D Program of China, NSFC General Program, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology projects. He has published over 30 SCI/EI papers and holds 25 national invention patents. He serves as Executive Council Member of the Digital Medicine Branch of CCF, Standing Committee Member of the Data Governance Development Committee of CCF, and Chairman of the Health Big Data and Digital Intelligent Public Health Branch of the Shandong Preventive Medicine Association.
