Biography
Professor Xie Dongshui is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Discipline Leader at the School of Business, University of Jinan. Born in 1980 in Leiyang, Hunan, he holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics. He is a Discipline Leader in Philosophy and Social Sciences under Jinan's "Haiyou Plan", and serves as the Leader and Degree Program Coordinator of Applied Economics at the University of Jinan. His research focuses on land institutions and urban-rural development, economic history, and development economics. He has published over 40 papers in domestic and international journals including Economic History Research, Finance Research, Economic Science, Nankai Economic Studies, Economic Modelling, and Economic Analysis and Policy, with 7 papers reprinted by Renmin University Copy Press. He has published 2 monographs and led 2 National Social Science Fund projects and 5 provincial/ministerial projects. He serves as a reviewer and evaluation expert for the National Social Science Fund, Executive Council Member of the National Higher Finance and Economics Institutions "Das Kapital" Research Association, and a peer reviewer for over 30 academic journals.
