Wang Jian, male, born April 1964, Ph.D., is Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of International Trade and Economics, UIBE, where he chairs the Department of International Business and Economic Cooperation and directs the International Business Research Center. He has long taught, researched and practiced in the interdisciplinary field of international business (international trade practice, international business, e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, business negotiation, futures markets), authoring numerous papers, monographs and textbooks, some in top international journals. He has advised China's MOFCOM, MOE, MOST and the State Council Informatization Office, and many international organizations and firms, represented China in UNCITRAL e-commerce legislation and national e-commerce law-making, and spoken at APEC Senior Officials' Meetings and UN trade facilitation forums.
