Professor Zaafri Ananto Husodo is a Full Professor (Guru Besar) of Financial & Market Risk Management at the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Indonesia (UI). He was formally appointed as Full Professor on October 1, 2025, by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia via Decree No. 43680/M/KPT.KP/2025, in the field of Financial Management and Market Risk (Manajemen Keuangan dan Risiko Pasar). He has been with Universitas Indonesia since 1999, serving as Lecturer (1999-2022), Associate Professor (2022-2025), and Professor (2025-present). He currently serves as Head of the Department of Management (2025-2029 term), Head of the Graduate Program of Management (since 2018), and Chair of the Digital Business and Economy Research Cluster (since 2021). He holds a B.Econ. (Hons., Cum Laude) from Universitas Sebelas Maret (1997), an M.B.A. (Hons., Cum Laude) from Universitas Indonesia (2000), and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from UNSW Australian School of Business (2008). His research focuses on financial system stability, market microstructure, Islamic finance, digital finance, and risk management, with 55 research outputs listed on UI Scholar and over 1,100 Google Scholar citations. On April 4, 2026, he delivered his professorial inauguration oration titled 'Measuring the Uncertain, Managing the Risky: A Scientific Framework for Financial Management and Market Risk Management for Indonesia' at Universitas Indonesia. His professional contributions extend beyond academia: he has served as Invited Member of the Financial System Stability Research Forum at Bank Indonesia, National Team Leader for the World Bank housing finance project, and Principal Researcher at the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia.
