Building Bridges Between Academic Ideals and the Digital Future

Background & Mission

Headquartered in Hong Kong, StarNexus Science Press is an internationally innovative academic publishing institution incubated by the Greater Bay Area StarNexus Innovation Institute. Founded in the era of global digital transformation, we are committed to breaking down barriers in traditional academic publishing and reshaping knowledge dissemination using generative AI (AIGC) and distributed technologies.

Our mission is to empower researchers through technological innovation, creating a transparent, efficient, and socially responsible global academic community.

2026 Strategic Vision

  • Core Assets: Four flagship journals as the foundation for high-impact academic platforms
  • Technology-Driven: Deep integration of AI peer review and multimodal digital media technology
  • Global Vision: Connecting the Greater Bay Area with 50+ top laboratories worldwide

Diamond Open Access

Zero-Fee Publishing

At StarNexus, we believe academic achievements should not be constrained by commercial interests. ACDM journals implement a pure Diamond OA policy: authors pay no Article Processing Charges (APC), and readers can access all content for free.

Academic Foundation

Our operating costs are primarily funded by the Greater Bay Area StarNexus Innovation Institute and strategic partners, ensuring the independence of editorial decisions and the purity of academic integrity.

CC BY 4.0 License

All published papers follow the CC BY 4.0 international license, maximizing the dissemination and recombination of academic knowledge.

Rigorous Editorial Board Structure

StarNexus has established a three-tier peer review quality control system to ensure every published article withstands academic scrutiny:

  1. An International Advisory Committee composed of top global scientists guides discipline frontiers and publishing direction.
  2. Automated preliminary review and compliance screening for format, plagiarism, and basic ethics upon manuscript submission.
  3. Subject-specific editorial evaluation (rotating review by subject editors), with additional technical method verification for articles involving data, algorithms, or experiments to ensure reproducibility.
  4. The AI Ethics Expert Panel established in 2026 provides oversight of AI compliance in paper writing and review, preventing academic misconduct.
  5. Independent ethics committee review before final publication checks for conflicts of interest, authorship, and data authenticity, building a strong foundation for academic integrity.
