Diamond Open Access (Diamond OA)Minimal Publishing | Zero Fees

Advances in Computing and Digital Media (ACDM) implements the Diamond Open Access model. All articles in this journal are free for both authors and readers.

1. Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

As the core academic platform under StarNexus Publishing, ACDM is committed to breaking down barriers to academic dissemination. We solemnly pledge:

  • No fees for authors: No APC, review fees, or color figure fees.
  • Full open access: Articles are immediately and permanently freely available worldwide upon publication.
  • Funding source: Publishing operations are supported by the StarNexus Publishing (Hong Kong) dedicated research fund, not dependent on author payments.

2. Copyright & License (CC BY 4.0)

Under this license, authors retain copyright. Third parties are allowed to distribute, remix, adapt, and create derivative works, even for commercial purposes, provided they credit the original work and its contributors.

We firmly believe that returning control to authors through the CC BY 4.0 license can greatly promote interdisciplinary knowledge iteration.

3. Archiving Policy

To ensure the permanence of digital academic resources, ACDM employs the following archiving strategies:

  • Institutional storage: Authors are encouraged to archive the final PDF (Version of Record) to their personal or institutional repositories after publication.
  • Digital preservation: All literature is backed up through Portico and CLOCKSS for long-term digital preservation, ensuring knowledge remains traceable even if the publishing system goes offline.

This policy is formulated and supervised by StarNexus Publishing (Hong Kong). As a future-oriented publisher based in Hong Kong with a global reach, we firmly support the Open Science movement, ensuring efficient circulation of scientific research achievements in the digital age.
